We have a great opportunity for a talented Software Developer who has a minimum of 5yrs' work experience utilising skills in MS SQL Server, ASP.NET, C#, WCF, Java Script, and Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate for this role is a keen problem solver who can demonstrate strong experience in these relevant technologies.

Joining the existing in-house development team, the Senior Software Developer will play a key part in the creation of enhancements, new features and products, all as part of the product roadmap. A team player, you will proactively integrate with the existing team and utilise the aforementioned core technologies to support the business and already well-established processes.

SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - Reporting to the Technical Architect, the Senior Software Developer will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing and demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the company's existing product and technology strategy
  • Designing & developing new solutions and features utilising the core technologies (ASP.Net, ASP.Net MVC, MS SQL Server, C#, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, Bootstrap, DevExpress)
  • Adhering to the company development process protocols, such as Source Code Management using Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • Assisting in the investigation of development issues, bugs, enhancements & lifecycle evolution
  • Contributing and engaging with the wider business to maintain its smooth running

SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - To be considered for the role of Senior Software Developer, you must have the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5yrs work experience as a Developer in the following technologies:
    • MS SQL Server (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
    • NET 4.5/4.7, C# WCF
    • NET MVC
    • Java Script, JQuery, Bootstrap, SOAP
    • MS SQL Server T-SQL
    • Visual Studio
    • SQL Server Management Studio
  • Educated to degree level in fields such as Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Preferable experience of using JIRA, Azure DevOps, GIT & DevExpress
  • Highly organised and motivated
  • Strong attention to detail, highly numerate and logical
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels

C# .NET Developer - CONTRACT - I am recruiting for my client that design and build websites, apps & platforms. We need somebody to come in and work on one of the platforms that already exists. This role is based in Manchester City Centre.

This role is full time and pays a competitive day rate. 3 month minimum contract with the very high likelihood of being extended on an ongoing basis from there on in. This role will be inside IR35. Pay rate is between £325 - £350 per day.

Skills required:

Technical Support Engineer (Windows IIS SQL Active Directory SOAP REST). Are you a customer focused technologist seeking a varied role with excellent career progression?

You could be joining a global FinTech within Insurance Risk. As a Technical Support Engineer you will split your time between support and consultancy; you will be responsible for planning, configuring, installing and rolling-out advanced web based systems that run on the Microsoft platform and providing 2nd / 3rd line support ensuring that high-level technical consultancy is provided to a mercilessly quality conscious client base.

You'll build strong client relationships partnering with them through the full project lifecycle and be the primary point of contact. Responsibilities will encompass project management of large multi-dimensional projects; onsite and remote installation, configuration and support of enterprise software; training clients on installation, running technical workshops and architecting bespoke solutions. You'll become a product expert and provide pre-sales support to professional services consultants and sales teams including managing the RFI / RFP responses.

You will be based in Reigate in modern, open plan offices within a five minute walk of the station; there's a smart casual dress code and a good work / life balance. Travel to client sites is required, usually within London and South East but with opportunities for global travel every six months if desired.

*Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to understand, explain and develop complex IT architectures and produce clear, concise documentation
*Strong analytical and technical problem solving skills with a logical mindset and meticulous attention to detail
