Gilbert Meher is currently resourcing for a candidate to join their market leading client who are looking to add to their existing IT Development resource due to the demands of their current projects. The projects are greenfield in nature and require the redesign and redevelopment of Magento v1 websites using the latest in Magneto 2 technology.

The ideal candidate will have both the experience working with in OOP PHP and relevant ecommerce platforms, preferably Magento 2, and be enthused by the chance to develop creative solutions to enterprise level problems. Given the greenfield nature of the work there is plenty of opportunity for input from all levels on the design of the solution and a real chance for the right person to really make their mark.

  • Demonstrable experience of OOP PHP

We are hiring a Software Engineer to join our London office. 

Responsibilities

  • Build amazingly crafted software and systems to provide our clients with a cutting-edge digital media management, delivery, and reporting/analytics suite.
  • Participate in ongoing Sony platforms integration efforts to deliver next generation, full service distribution products.
  • Collaborate with a talented team of engineers and designers.
  • Work with new technology and tools in a highly-collaborative, Agile environment.
  • Use industry standards and adopt new technologies to manage big data transformations and analysis.
  • Advocate for best schema designs to manage Orchard’s master data to ensure scalability and flexibility.

Qualifications
